Aiper and CPSC Announce the Voluntary Recall of the Aiper Seagull Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner (Model No. ZT6001)
March 20, 2025 – Aiper, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), today announced a voluntary recall for the replacement of the Aiper Seagull Pro (Model No. ZT6001) Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner, sold through Amazon, BestBuy.US, The Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Woot, and Aiper’s Webstore between March 2023 to May 2024. Aiper has determined that when the battery is charged with a large current adapter, it can overheat, posing a burn and fire hazard.
Consumers should immediately stop using the Aiper Seagull Pro and contact Aiper at recall@aiper.com to initiate a return of the product and to receive a free replacement with a new Aiper Scuba S1 Robotic Pool Cleaner.
