Aiper and CPSC Announce the Voluntary Recall of the Aiper Seagull Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner (Model No. ZT6001)
March 20, 2025 – Aiper, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), today announced a voluntary recall for the replacement of the Aiper Seagull Pro (Model No. ZT6001) Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner, sold through Amazon, BestBuy.US, The Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Woot, and Aiper’s Webstore between March 2023 to May 2024. Aiper has determined that when the battery is charged with a large current adapter, it can overheat, posing a burn and fire hazard. Consumers should immediately stop using the Aiper Seagull Pro and contact Aiper at [email protected] to initiate a return of the product and to receive a free replacement with a new Aiper Scuba S1 Robotic Pool Cleaner.

We have recently learned of a potential for thermal failure in our Seagull Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner (Model No. ZT6001). When the battery is charged with a large current adapter it can overheat, posing a burn and fire hazard. At Aiper, we are committed to providing safe and reliable products to our customers, and, as such, we are voluntarily recalling the Seagull Pro (Model No. ZT6001). Affected customers can return the recalled unit and Aiper will provide the Scuba S1 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner as a replacement.

You will receive an Aiper Scuba S1 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner at no additional cost. The Scuba S1 is an advanced cleaner that has been designed to meet our high-performance standards.

My product does not show any of the signs you described, can I still use it?
No. To prevent any potential risks, please stop using your Seagull Pro (Model No. 6001) immediately and follow the recall instructions to receive your replacement.

Once we receive and verify the return of your recalled product, we will process your free replacement Scuba S1 Cordless Pool Cleaner as quickly as possible.
