Standard pool (leaves, insects): every 2 sessions. Pools near trees or with heavy algae load: every session. Saltwater pools: after every session plus fresh-water rinse of the chassis.
Wann ersetzen statt reinigen
Replace the filter if suction remains poor after cleaning, if the mesh has visible tears, or if the basket frame is warped. Replacement filters are available on aiper.store.
Was Sie nicht verwenden sollten
Never use dishwasher detergent, bleach, or pool chemicals to clean the filter — these degrade the polypropylene mesh fibres and cause the basket to fail prematurely.
Filterkorb klemmt oder lässt sich schwer entfernen
If the filter basket gets stuck and won’t come out easily: (1) Turn the robot off and flip it upside down. (2) Grip the basket frame (not the mesh) and gently rock it side-to-side while pulling — the latch mechanism can bind if debris is packed around the rim. (3) If still stuck, run the robot in a pool or bucket of water for 5 minutes — water pressure can loosen compacted debris around the latch. (4) Never use pliers or excessive force on the basket frame — the plastic clip can snap. If the basket repeatedly sticks, the latch clip may be warped — order a replacement (see below).

Replacement filter baskets for the Scuba V3 are available at the Aiper accessories store: aiper.store/us/series/accessories. If the V3 basket is not listed (stock varies), submit a ticket via aiper.com/us/process-a-warranty with your serial number and a photo of the basket. The support team processes part orders within 24–72 hours. Also ask about the 180 μm ultra-fine filter tray upgrade — it captures finer particles than the standard basket.
