When the Scuba S3 stops mid-cycle, check these three causes in order: (1) Low battery — if the robot ran its full expected duration, este es un comportamiento normal; recargue y reanude. (2) Motor stall — check for a LED rojo parpadeante; if present, recupere el robot and inspect the impulsor de la bomba and rueda motrizs for jammed debris (hair, string, stones). (3) Cycle completed — if Limpieza periódica or a schedule was set in the app, the robot may have simply finished its programmed session. Check the app for the registro de limpieza.
1. Batería baja — Apagado normal
The most common and benign reason: the battery reached its minimum threshold and the robot performed a apagado normal. The Scuba S3 is designed to stop and park when the battery is depleted. If the robot had been running for approximately its expected duration (check your specific mode’s rated runtime), this is expected behaviour. Recupere el robot, recharge fully and redeploy. If the robot stopped much earlier than expected, consulte nuestra guía de batería de corta duración.
2. Bloqueo del motor — Advertencia de LED rojo
If the robot stopped suddenly AND the LED is parpadeo rojo, a motor has stalled. The most common causes: (a) the impulsor de la bomba is jammed with hair, string, or small debris; (b) a rueda motriz is obstructed. Recupere el robot, turn it off, and inspect the impeller through the filter compartment and each rueda motriz for tangled debris. Clear any obstructions carefully (use tweezers, not metal tools). After clearing, power on and test in shallow water before redeploying to the deep end. If the LED rojo persists after clearing all visible obstructions, the motor itself may be damaged — contact support.
3. Ciclo o programación completada
If you use Limpieza periódica (scheduled automatic cleaning) or set a specific duration en la aplicación Aiper, the robot may have simply finished its programmed session. Abra la aplicación Aiper and check the registro de limpieza or history — it will show whether the cycle completed normally. A ‘Completed’ status confirms the robot stopped because it finished its work, not because of a fault. Adjust the schedule or duration in the app if you need longer sesión de limpiezas.
Cuándo contactar al soporte
Contact soporte postventa de Aiper if: (a) the LED rojo persists after clearing all visible motor obstructions, (b) the robot stops very early in every cycle despite a full charge, or (c) the robot stops but shows no actividad LED at all (possible internal fault). Provide your device número de serie (SN), the modo de limpieza used, the approximate runtime before stopping, and the comportamiento del LED (colour, flashing pattern).
