Every article on the Aiper Blog is written and reviewed to the standards on this page. This is not a statement of intent — it is an accurate record of how we actually produce content, including the review steps that slow us down on purpose so we get the details right. If we publish something that falls short, tell us. Our email is at the bottom.
A brief history of the Aiper Blog
We moved from outsourced content to a fully in-house team, and the blog’s architecture changed along the way:
- October 2021: The Aiper Blog launches at aiper.com/blog/.
- September 2025: The blog splits across several paths — content.aiper.com, poolblog.aiper.com, and blogs.aiper.com. These scattered paths are a legacy of an earlier partnership with an external SEO agency. Without the strict review process we have today, some content from that period did not meet Aiper’s standards.
- April 2026: Aiper forms an in-house team and launches the new official path at aiper.com/blogs/, with all content created and published internally.
- August 2026: All legacy blog paths are consolidated and redirected to aiper.com/blogs/.
We publish in four languages so most Aiper owners worldwide can read the same content:
- English: aiper.com/blogs/
- German: aiper.com/blogs/de
- French: aiper.com/blogs/fr
- Spanish: aiper.com/blogs/es
Our audience and content hubs
We write for homeowners who care for a pool, a lawn, or both. Aiper builds a Smart Yard Ecosystem — robotic pool cleaning and smart irrigation working together as one connected system — and our content helps you get the most from it and from the everyday care your yard needs.
Content is organized into six hubs:
- Pool Guides — equipment selection, pool-surface care, and industry standards.
- Pool Care — water chemistry, routine cleaning, and seasonal opening and closing.
- Lawn Care — landscaping, lawn maintenance, seasonal mowing, and smart irrigation.
- Toolkit Hub — interactive calculators and free tools for pool volume, chemical dosing, and more.
- Troubleshooting — step-by-step fixes built from real support tickets and common questions.
- How-to Videos — unboxing, app setup, firmware updates, and in-depth product walkthroughs.
Why we create this content
The Aiper Blog exists for the same reason as every Aiper product: to give owners their time back. Less effort, less stress, and a yard that takes care of itself — that is the promise behind everything we make, and it is the promise behind every article we write.
We create this content to be genuinely useful to you. When you finish an article, we want you to have a clear answer you can act on.
That purpose drives every decision we make about what to publish, how deep to go, and when a topic is not worth covering at all.
Who creates our content
Our guides and technical articles are not written by a single author or an outside agency, because most topics require expertise across several fields. A pool-cleaning guide needs someone who understands motors and batteries. A water-chemistry article needs someone who knows the chemistry. A troubleshooting guide needs data from a real support line.
We keep that expertise in-house through three teams with clear responsibilities:
- Aiper Expert — our official expert team and review authority, powered by the Aiper Pro Club, Aiper’s expert-led backyard sharing platform. The team spans 20+ industry professionals worldwide and is trusted across 30,000+ yards. They provide first-hand experience and real case studies, and they own fact-checking, technical calibration, and draft review. Every published article carries the Aiper Expert byline, and they take professional responsibility for it.
- Content & R&D Team — outlines articles, researches each topic in depth, gathers first-party product information, and writes first drafts.
- Customer Service Team — supplies anonymized real chat logs and support-ticket data, so our Troubleshooting content reflects the questions and failure paths owners actually hit.
What we publish, and what we never publish
We judge every article by one measure: did it solve the reader’s problem? If it did not, we do not publish it.
We would rather publish nothing than publish content that is generic or useless to an Aiper owner. An article goes live only when it adds something genuinely useful you could not get elsewhere, which means it must include at least one of these four:
- First-party product information — product specs, battery and filtration ratings, and model compatibility straight from Aiper’s own product records.
- Hands-on experience — practical guidance and real-world notes from the Aiper Expert team, professionals who work in yards and pools every day.
- Real service and operating logs — practical troubleshooting paths built from anonymized customer chats and support tickets.
- Original standards from authoritative bodies — for electrical safety, waterproof ratings (IPX8), or chemical safety, we cite and link the issuing organization (for example, CPSC, EPA, ASTM).
What we never publish:
- No template content. If you could swap “Aiper” for a competitor’s name and the draft would still work, we do not publish it. This is our main filter, and the reason most topics are rejected.
- No sponsored posts or attack marketing. We follow the principle Aiper CEO Richard Wang sets for the company: fair, open, and honest. We never publish paid placements, smear campaigns, fake rankings, or comparison and “alternative” reviews that lack neutrality. We compete fairly and never distort or disparage another brand.
- Restrained product placement. We never recommend a product because of margin, inventory, or a promotion. Product and category links are limited and added only when our team believes they genuinely help you take the next step. We accept no third-party payment to feature products and publish no sponsored articles.
- A clean reading experience. No forced pop-ups, no irrelevant ads, and every interactive tool and video loads fast and works.
- No medical or home-construction advice. We cover pool and lawn equipment. On water safety we discuss standard pool disinfection and physical filtration only — never medical advice or waterborne-pathogen diagnosis.
How to verify what you read
Much of what you read online about pool and lawn products is sponsored, AI-generated, or written by someone with something to sell. Be skeptical of product reviews and comparisons that are one-sided, quote no source, or read as if they have an agenda — including some that claim to be “objective.”
If you want to verify a claim about an Aiper product, you have two reliable paths: read the sourced, fact-checked articles on this blog, or contact Aiper support directly. We would rather you check than trust.
Where our facts come from
We ground every article in these sources, in this order of preference:
- First-party product data — product specs, battery and filtration ratings, and model compatibility come from Aiper’s own product records. When a figure can change (for example, model compatibility), we note the date it was captured.
- Official and primary literature — for safety and industry standards we cite the source directly (for example, CPSC, eCFR, ASTM International) and link the original document.
- Experienced industry experts — the Aiper Pro Club team, with hands-on lawn and pool care experience.
We never use as a source of facts: competitor brochures, third-party blog articles, unverified forum posts, generic industry tables, or AI-generated summaries. We do look at competitor pages and forums to understand what readers are asking — but a fact never comes from them.
When we lack data, we say so. We never fill a gap with an estimate dressed up to look like a fact.
How we use AI
We are transparent about this because vagueness here would be unfair to you.
Why we use AI: to process large volumes of unstructured support data, to build page layouts and interactive tools faster, and to speed up first-draft translation across four languages — so our team can spend its time on real-world testing and careful human review.
What AI helps with:
- Building page layouts and interactive components, and creating article cover images and information illustrations.
- Cleaning, anonymizing, and summarizing customer chat logs and internal documents.
- Checking grammar and readability.
- Drafting first versions and draft translations — everything it produces is then edited and verified by a human.
What AI never does:
- Invent facts, figures, or measurements.
- Claim first-hand experience it does not have.
- Create a fake product image presented as a real photo.
Our commitment: nothing we publish is the direct, unedited output of an AI tool. Every factual claim in a published article is verified by an assigned person against primary sources or our own data, and every draft is edited and reviewed by the Aiper Expert team before it goes live.
Publishing cadence and periodic review
Cadence and multilingual rollout. Good content takes time — research, first drafts, technical review, and multiple rounds of editing — so we do not publish on a fixed, high-frequency schedule. Every topic is planned and scheduled in advance, and even a finished draft usually goes through several rounds of technical and editorial review.
English goes live first at aiper.com/blogs/. German, French, and Spanish translations are reviewed and published as each is ready. Because translation review and scheduling can group several articles together, you may see multiple articles go live at once — that is a result of our review-first approach, not a mechanical publishing pace.
Quarterly review. Every article on the blog is re-reviewed every three months. We update and rewrite content to make sure it keeps meeting the needs of every Aiper user.
