The charging LED works in three stages: green (charger alone) → red (charging) → green (fully charged). Always charge fully before the first use. Place the SE in the pool after the LED returns to solid green.
Reading the Charging LED
Connect the charger to the power outlet first — the LED glows solid green. Now connect the charger to the Scuba SE — the LED changes to red, indicating charging is in progress. When the LED returns to solid green, the battery is full. Do not place the robot in the pool while the LED is still red.
First Pool Run
After a full charge, press the power button to turn on the SE. Place it in the pool at the shallow end. The robot will begin its floor cleaning cycle automatically. The app goes offline once the robot is submerged — this is expected. Retrieve the robot when the cycle completes.
Adding to the Aiper App
Open the Aiper app, tap + and select Scuba SE. Enable Bluetooth on your phone. Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi SSID and password. Complete pairing within 5 minutes of turning on the robot. Once connected, you can set schedules, monitor status, and receive cycle completion notifications.
Pool Compatibility
The Scuba SE is designed for in-ground pools with standard 90-degree wall angles. It cleans the pool floor only — it does not climb walls. Compatible surfaces: concrete, fiberglass, vinyl, tile. Saltwater pools: compatible, but rinse with fresh water after each session.
