Charge the Seagull Pro fully before the first use.
Charge the Seagull Pro fully before the first use. The Seagull Pro is a wall-climbing robotic pool cleaner designed for in-ground pools. Ensure the power supply is compatible with your outlet (the recall only affected units charged with a 9A charger — use only the included charger).
Before First Use: Charge & Inspect
Charge fully using the included charger and cable only — do not use third-party chargers rated above the included output. The recall (ZT6001 batch, S/N starting with 61) was caused specifically by a 9A charger; the included Seagull Pro charger is safe to use. Inspect the robot body and drive rollers for any packaging foam or tape before use.
Adding to the Aiper App
The Seagull Pro supports Wi-Fi and Aiper app control. Open the app, tap + and select Seagull Pro. Ensure your phone is on a 2.4 GHz network — the Seagull Pro does not support 5 GHz. Complete pairing within 5 minutes of powering on the robot.
First Pool Run
Place the Seagull Pro in the pool at the shallow end. Select your cleaning mode in the app: Floor mode cleans the floor only; Wall mode adds the pool walls; Auto mode (recommended for first run) covers both and adapts to the pool shape. The robot will map the pool during the first cycle — coverage improves on subsequent runs.
Recommended Cleaning Schedule
For pools used daily or in areas with heavy tree debris, run every 2–3 days. For occasional-use pools, weekly cleaning is typically sufficient. Use the Eco Schedule feature in the app to set automatic start times. Keep the pool water balanced (pH 7.2–7.6) — out-of-spec water can affect the robot’s sensor calibration over time.
