Red flashing LED during charging with a high battery temperature warning means stop charging immedia
Red flashing LED during charging with a high battery temperature warning means stop charging immediately and contact support. Most other errors clear with a power cycle. Factory reset: hold power button 10 seconds until LED flashes.
Red Flashing LED + High Battery Temp While Charging
If the app shows “abnormal” status and a high battery temperature warning while charging, especially at a low charge percentage (e.g. 8%): (1) Disconnect the charger immediately. (2) Move the robot away from flammable materials. (3) Allow to cool to room temperature. (4) Do not attempt to charge again. Contact Aiper support — this may indicate a faulty battery cell that poses a safety risk.
Common Error Codes
E1: Drive motor issue — check rollers for debris; rinse and restart. E2: Filter/pump blockage — remove and clean the basket. E3: Sensor error — restart and allow initialization to complete. E4: Battery or charging error — see above. For E1–E3: power cycle first. If the error returns immediately on restart, submit a support ticket with the error code and serial number.
Factory Reset Procedure
Hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes three times. Release. The N1 restarts with all Wi-Fi credentials, schedules, and preferences cleared. Re-add the device to the Aiper app from scratch. Perform a factory reset as a last resort for persistent errors or Wi-Fi issues that do not resolve with a standard power cycle.

For battery issues within the warranty period, contact Aiper support via aiper.com/us/process-a-warranty with: serial number, purchase date, description of the issue, and any error codes displayed.
