The Scuba S1 2026 upgrade is now available across all official Aiper regional stores.
The Scuba S1 2026 upgrade is now available across all official Aiper regional stores. The 2026 version extends battery runtime from 150 to 180 minutes, adds an optional 3μm MicroMesh™ ultra-fine filter, and supports OTA firmware updates via the app. The 2025 model introduced Wi-Fi and app control. The 2024 model remains the baseline with no Wi-Fi or app support.
2024 vs 2025 vs 2026 — Side-by-Side
2024: cord-free robot, floor mode only, no Wi-Fi, no app, fixed 2-hour cycle, physical buttons only. 2025: added 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Aiper app control, scheduling, Wall + Floor mode, extended battery to 150 min. Both 2024 and 2025 use the standard 180μm fine filter basket. 2026: all 2025 features, plus 180 min battery (+30 min), optional 3μm MicroMesh™ ultra-fine filter, and OTA firmware update support over the app.
What’s New in the 2026 Upgrade
Battery (150 → 180 min): 20% longer runtime per charge allows the robot to cover pools up to 1,600 sq.ft in a single session without needing a recharge mid-clean. 3μm MicroMesh™ filter (optional accessory): the standard 180μm basket captures leaves, debris, and sand; the MicroMesh upgrade also captures fine algae particles and ultrafine sediment. Available separately from the Aiper Store. OTA firmware updates: future firmware is delivered wirelessly through the Aiper app, eliminating the need for manual update procedures.
How to Identify Your Version
Check the serial number (S/N) on the bottom of the unit. The Aiper app → Device Info screen also displays the firmware version and hardware revision. If the robot cannot be added to the app at all, it is the 2024 model (no Wi-Fi module). If it connects but shows 150 min max runtime, it is the 2025 model. The 2026 model shows 180 min runtime and the OTA update option in app settings. Contact Aiper support with your serial number for a definitive version confirmation.
Does the 2024 Model Have App Features?
No. The Scuba S1 2024 has no Wi-Fi module and cannot connect to the Aiper app. It operates as a standalone robot using the physical buttons on the unit and runs on a fixed 2-hour cleaning cycle. The 2024 model is fully functional as a pool cleaner — it simply lacks remote control, scheduling, and OTA update features. If app connectivity is important, the 2025 or 2026 model is required.
