The Scuba series includes multiple models at different capability levels. The SE is the entry-level floor cleaner; the N1/N1 Pro add stronger suction; the S1 and X1 add Wi-Fi, app control, and wall climbing. Check the label on the bottom of your robot for the exact model name.

Scuba N1 / N1 Pro: Floor cleaning, improved suction, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Aiper app. Scuba S1: Floor + wall cleaning, app scheduling, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. How to Identify Your Model
The model name is printed on a label on the bottom of the robot. It will say “Scuba SE”, “Scuba N1”, “Scuba S1”, or similar. If the label is worn, check your purchase receipt or the Aiper app — when you add the device, you select the model name.
SE-Specific Feature: Path Preference
The Scuba SE includes a path preference setting in the Aiper app that allows you to adjust the cleaning pattern. This feature is not available on all Scuba models. If you see path preference options in your app, you have the SE.
Does the SE Stop at the Shallow End?
The Scuba SE cannot be programmed to stop at a specific end of the pool. The robot cleans autonomously and parks wherever its cycle ends — typically near the last wall it bounced off. If it consistently stops in the deep end, use the retrieval hook included in the box. Future firmware may add parking preference; this is not available as of 2025.
