Most Seagull Pro errors are indicated by LED blink patterns and corresponding codes in the Aiper app
Most Seagull Pro errors are indicated by LED blink patterns and corresponding codes in the Aiper app. A power cycle resolves most transient errors. E5 (water ingress) requires immediate removal and drying before contacting support.
LED Blink Pattern Reference
Solid green: normal operation / fully charged. Slow flashing green: charging in progress. Rapid flashing green: Wi-Fi setup mode (first 5 minutes after power on). Flashing yellow: filter basket blockage or suction issue — check and clean the basket. Flashing red: motor error or water ingress — stop use immediately. Solid red: critical error — contact support.
E1 — E4: Common App Error Codes
E1: Drive motor issue — check for debris wrapped in drive rollers; rinse and restart. E2: Filter pump blockage — remove and rinse the filter basket. E3: Sensor error — restart and allow full initialization. E4: Battery or charging error — see battery guide. For E1–E4: power cycle the unit first. If the error returns on the next run, contact support with the error code and serial number.
E5 — Water Ingress
E5 means the robot has detected water in the electronics compartment. Remove from the pool immediately. Do not power on. Let the unit dry in open air (not direct sunlight) for 24–48 hours. Check the bottom cover seal and any access panels for damage. If the unit powers on normally after drying, monitor for recurrence. If E5 returns, the seal is compromised — contact support for warranty service.
Factory Reset Procedure
Hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes three times. Release — the robot restarts in factory defaults. All Wi-Fi credentials, schedules, and preferences are cleared. Re-add the Seagull Pro to the Aiper app after reset. Perform a reset as a last resort for persistent errors that don’t clear with a standard power cycle.
