The Scuba N1 requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
The Scuba N1 requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. “Incorrect password” means you are likely on a 5 GHz network. The robot must connect within 5 minutes of powering on. Wi-Fi reset: hold power button for 10 seconds.
2.4 GHz Only
The N1 does not support 5 GHz. Check your router settings and connect to the 2.4 GHz band. Many dual-band routers show one combined SSID — if yours does, split the bands into separate SSIDs and use the 2.4 GHz one for the N1.
Pairing via QR Code
In the Aiper app, when adding the N1, select the QR code option and scan the code printed on the bottom of the robot. This skips manual password entry and resolves most “incorrect password” errors immediately.
Wi-Fi Reset Procedure
Hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes. Release — the robot clears all saved Wi-Fi credentials and restarts in pairing mode. Re-add the device in the Aiper app from scratch.
App Shows N1 as Offline After Retrieval
After cleaning, retrieve the robot and bring it within Wi-Fi range. If the app still shows it offline: force-quit the app and reopen. Power cycle the N1. The app display typically syncs within 30–60 seconds. If offline status persists, check that the robot’s Wi-Fi is connected (solid green LED) before investigating further.
