Beeping at 75–80% charge indicates a charging port or battery management issue.
Beeping at 75–80% charge indicates a charging port or battery management issue. Try a different wall outlet first. If beeping continues at the same charge level with a different outlet, contact support — this is a hardware issue covered under warranty.
Robot Beeps at 75–80% Charge
Multiple X1 Pro Max users have reported beeping that starts at around 75–80% battery level and does not stop. Aiper support first recommends: (1) Try a different wall outlet — voltage fluctuations can trigger false overcharge alerts. If a different outlet does not stop the beeping, this indicates a charging port or battery management board issue and the unit qualifies for warranty service.
LED Doesn’t Change When Charging
If the LED shows no change after connecting the charger for 30+ minutes: (1) Inspect the charging contacts on both the robot and the charger for corrosion. (2) Clean contacts with a dry cloth or mild contact cleaner. (3) Ensure the charger is fully seated and the connection is solid. (4) Try charging on a different outlet with a known good extension cord. If still no response, the charging port may be faulty.
Saltwater Pools: Charging Contact Care
Saltwater accelerates corrosion on the charging contacts. After each session in a saltwater pool, rinse the robot with fresh water and dry the charging port area before connecting the charger. Regular cleaning prevents charging failures due to contact corrosion.
Battery Replacement Policy
The Scuba X1 battery is internal and not user-replaceable. If your robot no longer holds a charge or consistently underperforms after a full 5-hour charge, contact Aiper support via aiper.com/us/process-a-warranty for a warranty assessment. Include your purchase date and serial number.
